Failed Series 63 AGAIN!

Failed series 63 again. Got a 41/60 the first time and 40/60 the second time. After the first failure, I started writing down everything I was getting wrong and even reread the textbook. Utterly disappointed that this course is nothing like the actual exam! I remember a question about intrinsic value on the exam (something that isn’t even talked about in the course even once). The questions in the exam were not even remotely close to the material provided on achievable and the wording is much different than the practice exams or quiz questions. Anyone else with this issue? I’ll for sure be getting a new study guide.

Hi @Phil_Dicki,

I know it’s frustrating to come up short a second time. The Series 63 is a tricky exam, and the regulators design the questions to be wordy and nuanced, which can make the test feel challenging even when you know the material well

That said, Achievable is fully aligned with the NASAA content outline and covers everything you need to know to pass. Our practice questions are designed to reflect the style of the actual exam, and many students have successfully passed the 63 with our program, and you can read some of their stories here: I passed the Series 63

One thing I noticed is that your study report shows you’ve been taking practice exams in instant feedback mode. While that’s great for learning concepts, it makes the tests easier since you don’t need to rely on long-term recall. For the most realistic prep, and to strengthen your memory for exam day, I recommend switching to exam mode and completing them straight through, doing your best to simulate real test conditions (no distractions, carefully working through each question, and using the full time - right now your average exam time is 10 minutes).

With this adjustment, you’ll be in a much stronger position for your next attempt. Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to support you as you study.

Thank you,
Mataia
