Taking SIE for the second time next Monday

Hello! I failed the SIE the first time, and I am scheduled to take it again next Monday. The first time I took it, I used Kaplan. I wanted to supplement what I learned with Kaplan with Achievable to make sure that I am not missing any information. Now I am acing the Kaplan exams and have been doing okay on the Achievable practice exams. The questions that I miss on Achievable tend to cover content that was not in the Kaplan program. How can I ensure that I pass my second attempt next Monday, are there any “last-minute” tips that can help? Thank you~

Can i ask how long have you study for and have you read the entire textbook from achievable? Good luck

Hi, welcome to Achievable!

It’s common to score a bit lower when you switch materials, since you unconsciously get familiar with the wording of the platform you were studying with before.

I reviewed your account and have two primary suggestions:

  1. It’s essential to carefully review your exams after you take them. Aim to spend an hour or two going question by question through each past exam, and ensure you understand why you missed it to master the concept.
  2. You’re going through the exam quite quickly. Slowing down and thoughtfully considering the question and choices before picking your answer might be helpful.

The goal of taking practice exams is to uncover weaker areas for additional study!

You’ve got this!!

I take my third attempt next Tuesday.
