Super Nervous for my Exam on Monday

I am super worried about my SIE Exam on Monday, feel that I am underprepared. Am fluctuating a lot on some exam scores, feel that I am also forgetting some material. Any tips?

You’re not alone. I remember being extremely nervous for my SIE.

Since you have one day left to review, I recommend going to YouTube and watching Dean Tinney’s (Series 7 Guru) and Ken Finnen’s (Capital Advantage Tutoring) ‘SIE day before / morning of’ recap videos.

Make note of your weakest areas in Achievable and compare to their review videos. Spend the rest of the day reinforcing these areas. The SIE covers a lot of ground, so maximize your remaining time by reinforcing your knowledge surrounding its most testable areas. Testable topics are indicated in FINRA’s SIE outline.

The absolute worst thing you can do is walk into this test holding the belief that you’re going to fail. If you have put in the work to study here on Achievable and have read ALL the textbook chapters, and followed the quiz / practice exam format, you should come out with a pass.

Breathe to calm the nerves. Get a good night’s sleep on Sunday. Eat a good / healthy breakfast on Monday (thinking requires energy). Then sit for the exam.

Best of luck!

Also, make sure to sleep early tonight so you’re well-rested, calm, and focused for your exam! It can make a significant difference~

Putting Ken and Dean in the same post, and the same paragraph as each other?

They would roll over if they saw this

BTW you mislabeled your links. They’re both Ken videos. Neither seem to be Dean (Series 7 Guru)

@Sonja_Kozey how did you do? I’ve been studying since end of December and my exam is on 3/14/25.
