Series 7 Readiness Score

Hi All,

So I have been studying series 7 pretty consistently over the past month and a half. I have taken about 12 practice exams on Achievable and about 15-17 on Kaplan. Started off rough, but out of my past 15 regardless of Kaplan or Achievable I have passed. I get anywhere from 78-84 on achievable and 75-82 on Kaplan. I was at a 93% readiness score on Achievable. Just took one and got an 80, however, my readiness score dropped to a 91%. I just passed the SIE using achievable, I took 40 practice tests and consistenly got 80-90%, and my readiness score was stuck at 97-99%. I didnt finish the readings for SIE, maybe thats why. But confused how I could pass by 8% and my readiness score go down.

Readiness is a complex calculation considering many elements of your study history. The passing score for the S7 is a 72%, so while an 80% is good, it’s still pretty close. There is a lot of natural randomness on these exams, as you’re only asked ~125 questions from a pool of thousands. It’s important to build a buffer in case you get an unlucky draw.

If you keep scoring higher, you’ll see your readiness continue to increase!
