Series 66 help, previously used Kaplan for all my tests to pass on first try, now I've failed the 66 two times

I took my SIE first try, passed. AAMS first try, pass. Insurance, first try, passed. Series 7, first try, passed. all with kaplan. Then i took my Series 66, having a 89 average on my qbank tests, and i Failed. then i took it again, fail. Im feeling so discouraged. both times i felt as if there were 30 questions i was not prepared for, like a total gamble. so ill take it again in a month, the lady at the center told me she hasnt seen anyone pass this test on the first or second try in her whole year working there. so i guess that’s reassuring… but i will not fail again. So i purchased this to supplement my learning. any tips? any other sources? anyone else felt the same way at their test? i cant even tell you what it was that i didn’t get it was basically foreign or a riddle. ill keep taking tests on kaplan and on here but that’s all i can really think of to help.

Hi, welcome to Achievable!

The Series 66 is definitely a tough exam, but we’ll help you pass :muscle:

When people come in using us as their primary material, it’s simple: just set a study plan, follow the day-by-day assignments, and almost everyone passes on their first try.

If you’re coming in from other materials, you can still certainly study with us from start to finish, but you probably have a lot of foundational knowledge to make use of. In your case, I recommend you take one or two of our practice exams to see how you do, view our summary breakdown of concepts, and let that guide your studies. Most likely you’ll be strong in a few chapters and can skip those to focus on the others.

Most importantly - take time to review your practice exams after you take them! The goal of practice exams isn’t just to get a score, but to understand your weaker areas so you can review them and ensure you get those concepts right next time, even if you see them worded in a different way.
