Series 65 Chapter 5 prep

I have passed the SIE, Series 6, Series 63, and am now working on the series 65. Almost all of it feels like review after those 3 exams. Especially Chapter 5 as it feels like all the same content I just covered on the 63. Should I spend a large chunk of time going through the rest of the text book or just jump straight in to practice exams?

Also, what is actually new on this exam that hasn’t been covered on those previous 3? just so I know what to dedicate more time to for learning new subjects.

Hi, congrats on passing your exams so far!

There is definitely a lot of overlap on the high-level concepts for these exams, although each has a different focus and nuances that largely require studying for each one independently.

Since you already have a lot of experience, if a page feels familiar, you can skip straight to the quiz at the end. If you score 80%+, that’s great, and you can head to the next one. If you’re lower, it might be a good idea to revisit that page and ensure you’ve mastered the material.

We’ve made a breakdown of topics covered on various FINRA exams to help illustrate the overlap between these exams!
