Serie 7 exam for unemployed

Hey guys, Gals,

I used to work for broker dealers but I did not need to pass any Finra series, I left 5 years ago and I am looking to go back to the field but I wanted to pass my exam serie 7. Is there a way to pass the exam without being employed ?

You cannot take the series 7 exam without a sponsor but you can take the SIE, series 63, 65 and 66 exams without a sponsor. To be registered with the 66, you also need to have passed the SIE and 7.
