I currently work full time and don’t have time every other day to complete an almost 4 hour long practice exam. I can do one on the weekends. Any suggestions on what I should do to make the material work the best for me? Thank you!
Hi @Emmett_Collins, That’s a great question, totally understand how tough it can be to fit in a full exam with a full-time schedule!
If you’re able to take one full practice exam on the weekend, you can use that as your anchor each week. Spend time during the week reviewing the questions you missed or felt unsure about. Focus your weekday study sessions on targeted review in those weaker areas, re-reading the related chapters, and completing the topic quizzes to reinforce key concepts.
If you’re short on time, you can also split a practice exam into two sessions and resume where you left off the next day. While we generally recommend full sittings to build pacing and endurance, splitting a few exams is fine as long as you complete a few full-length runs before test day to replicate the exam experience.
When taking practice exams, treat them like the real thing: limit distractions, use your time wisely, and turn off instant feedback mode to mirror the actual testing experience. Afterward, review your results, focus on weaker areas, and revisit related material. Keep taking full-length exams until you’re consistently scoring in the mid-to-upper 80s to build a comfortable buffer for exam-day stress or a tougher question set.
