Hello all! I don’t see many posts like mine so here is how I passed the Series 7TO using 95% Achievable!
I studied from March 24th to July 10th. I primarily used Achievable and ended up studying for exactly 144 hours and 13 minutes. My readiness score was 91% and I took 43 practice exams with my best score being 85%. I also supplemented with Capital Advantage Tutoring and Series 7 Guru on Youtube!! I attempted to use Qbank but couldn’t make it through more than 2 practice exams without massively failing.
As for the exam, it was a lot. You have to use critical thinking and make sure you read the full question! I would say mine was an average draw, didn’t totally feel like death but definitely wasn’t easy either. Mine was very heavy on preferred stock and munis. Lots of variable annuity suitability and got a few options and margins, exactly one on EPS, one on alpha/beta, and one on conversion ratio. I had an hour to spare and quickly reviewed every question to make sure I felt confident. I admittedly changed a few answers at the last second but it seemed to pay off!
After seeing the PASS and nearly dying, I go to start the exit survey and a window pops up and says “No internet connection found.” I quickly get help and end up having to finish the survey on a different computer. I freaked out thinking I would have to do the exam all over again but luckily my score saved! I finally got my print out, raced out to my car, called my husband, burst into tears and we cheered together!
I’m so thankful for Achievable!!! Y’all are seriously the GOAT! You all helped me crush SIE, smother the 7, and I’ll be using Achievable once I’m ready to tackle the 66! I’m happy to answer any questions!! For now, it’s bottomless wine glasses and You’re The Best by Joe Esposito on repeat.
