Passed my Series 7 today on my first attempt using only Achievable. I took my SIE, 6 and 63 in 2020 and passed all 3 first try only using Kaplan. Then I failed my 65, three times using Kaplan from 2022-2023.
In 2023 I tried Achievable for my first time (along with a tutor, thank you Mark Cohen!) and I passed my 65 on my fourth try . I felt so much more prepared and confident I really knew the material after using Achievable.
I started studying on June 15th of this year for my 7. I read through 100% of the textbook and did every test after every unit. Then I scheduled my exam 3 weeks out and took 11 practice exams all using instant feedback and read every answer I missed or guessed. After every attempt I would reread the chapters in red.
Went today had options, and all their break evens on my dump sheet. Also my mayhammer but never used it. I definitely used my bond seesaw.
There was a question about yield curves which I knew from my 65 material it wasn’t in the 7 material. I barely had to do any math on options it was really intuitive. They gave me a lot of the numbers and I barely used my calculator, even the amortized premium bond tax question was easy and I was most afraid of that! Just take practice exams as much as you can they are so close to the real thing!
