Need to Pass by Friday

Hey Guys! I am just writing this discussion post to hopefully get some feed back on how to pass the SIE by this Friday. Currently I am at 68% readiness… When I take practice exams the highest I have received was a 65%. Recently I have been taking more but I seem to average lower around a 58%. Seems a though the wording is what leads me to get tricked. I feel as though I have a good undressing of each topic, but when I get a question it seems I have never seen the question, or that I a studying for so long to understand certain topics, that I when I get to other topics its all gone. I have never been good at learning by myself I am more of a hands on learner, so maybe that is why I am struggling. If I can please get some tips because it is driving me insane that I am so close yet so far to pass the SIE!! And I want to pass it first try

Look into the sections you have weakness in.

When you review the quiz questions, make sure to ask yourself why did you get it wrong. Why is it this the right answer.

Just compare your answer and the right answer back and forth. Analyze how you reached the process and the process to reach the right answer

Also use the dump sheets. An hour before your exam for refresher.

Hi @Jacquelyn_Cronin, I have reviewed your account and have some feedback to help you.

Your progress appears to be exactly as you’ve explained. Outside of “Options,” you have done well on the textbook quizzes and struggled with the full-length exams. Your full-length exam scores vary slightly, but most are in the range you’ve mentioned. You are going through your exams quickly, some in just 17 minutes. Take your time and ensure you read the whole question and not just look for recognizable patterns. Since you are taking the exam on Friday, I have some suggestions. Review your most recent full-length exams for about 1-2 hours or more. Go through each question slowly, and ensure you read the explanations thoroughly. This should help determine your weak areas and why you did poorly on those questions. After that, go through those textbook sections and read up on the areas you struggled with. If time permits, you can take quizzes as well.

With only a day to go, the best strategy is to review your full-length exams and identify your greatest areas of weakness so you can address them. @Cecil_O_Hara gave great advice as well, and their strategies are insightful and helpful!

Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to support you. Thank you,
