I have been scoring in the low-mid 70’s on the past 5 ish practice tests. I have noticed that I score low and retirement plans and options, so I have increased studying on these. I have also been reviewing the tests that I take. Any advice from people on how to break into the 80’s?
Hey Rebecca, looks like you’re on track! To continue increasing your scores, make sure you’re devoting a significant amount of time (an hour or two, each) to reviewing your exams after you take them. The main goal of the exams is to uncover weaker areas for additional review. It’s great that you’re looking at the summary, but I’d also encourage you to go question by question through past exams and ask yourself why you got those questions wrong. Pull up the chapter in another tab if additional context is needed, and take the time to thoroughly master those concepts so you can get them right on your next take!
