How close am I?

I finished the textbook about a week ago and have taken three full practice exams, scoring 73, 69, and 80. My exam readiness score is at 85% right now. I’m planning to take two more practice exams. Do you think I’m ready to take the real thing?

Hi, @Duane_Ankunding. I have reviewed your account and have some suggestions to help you prepare for the real exam.

Great job completing the textbook and getting an 80% on your latest exam! Since you have only taken 3 full-length exams, and your scores vary quite a bit (69-80%), I recommend a few things. The first thing I recommend is slowing down while taking the practice exams. You took the most recent exam in just ~40 minutes. Taking your time and ensuring you understand each question and the answer choices is important. The second thing I recommend is reviewing your most recent exam to better understand each explanation and question and what areas you may be weak in. Once you do that, you can then revisit those areas in the textbook to get a better understanding. My final suggestion would then be to take more practice exams over the next few weeks before your actual exam. Repeat the same process: take your time, spend time reviewing afterward, and then take more exams.

Overall, you have put yourself in a good spot. With the recommendations above, you will increase your practice scores and be more prepared for the real exam!

Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to support you as you continue to study. Thank you, -Brenden
