The study guide goes on to talk about exemptions if only dealing with institutions and then goes on to list example institutions without defining institutions. How do I determine if a family office qualifies as an institution?

Hi @Equal_azure_crawdad - good question. I would assume a family office qualifies. As stated in our material:
An institutional investor exists when a single entity invests a pool of capital (money)
A family office usually oversees the assets of a small group of wealthy investors (e.g., a family with billions). The office manages their “pooled” funds as a single entity.
