Failed my exam- Section Analysis question

Good Afternoon! Wanted to know, I failed the exam with a 65% but I am very confident I can pass and wanted to ask while I continue my studies. I got a Very Low performance on the Understanding products and their risks and wanted to dig deeper into that to raise my score up. What chapters would be suited to study?

Thank You!

Hi @Bob.Altrudo,

The SIE exam categories are quite broad and don’t always give clear guidance on what specific content to study. That’s why it’s best to follow your Achievable exam summary, which breaks the material into manageable, bite-sized chapters. This way, you can focus directly on your progress and weakest areas, rather than guessing which topics to review.

We do have mapping here: FINRA/NASAA functions and Achievable page mappings - Google Sheets
That said, it’s best to use the program to focus your studies since FINRA’s categories are very broad.

When you take our practice exams, try to treat them like the real thing by limiting distractions, not using instant feedback mode, and taking the exam in a single sitting within the time limit. Aim to consistently score in the mid-to-upper 80s to give yourself a buffer for test day nerves or a tougher question set.

You are very close, you got this!

Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to support you as you study.

Thank you,
Mataia
