Discuss anything related to the FINRA Series 65 exam or Achievable Series 65 test prep.
I’m from Brazil and I’m preparing to take the in-person S65 exam in the US.
Can you tell me if they provide paper and pen for drafting during the exam, or if they only provide a computer screen? Does the result display the percentage of correct/incorrect answers, or just the word PASSED?
Is there a certificate issued, or do we only have access to the page where you’ve been informed that you passed?
Thank you!
I passed and learned three things while taking the test. The first is that if you are a CFP, you do not have to take the test to get the 65. All you need to do is apply, pay the fee, and do the fingerprints. I passed the CFP, but I am not completing my BS until December. So I have the 65 a little early. The second is, I don’t ever remember reading about or ever hearing the term QDIA. Totally guessed on that one. The third thing is that the test questions are more straightforward than I anticipated. I can’t recall a single question that was a double negative.
