It would be helpful and easier on the eyes and brain, I think.

Good question. We’ve done it this way to avoid “layout shift” when moving from question to question. Since questions can vary in length, we fix the answer choices to the bottom of the layout, otherwise they would bounce up and down on the screen as you went through!

I agree! Going back and forth from the question and explanation can be confusing. You lose track of what the question was about.

This definitely is something we’ve been thinking about, as we certainly want to make better use of the space for people with bigger screens. But, we need to balance that with people studying on their phones with limited screen size, and ensure that the experience is still smooth.
