Taking sie in two weeks and I have finished the book but now forgetting the material from the beginning of the book but don’t want to spend too much time on going over topics that aren’t going to be heavily tested on the exam. For these next two week before my exam what do you suggest where i focus the most on getting nailed down in my head. or should I just start taking practice exams, maybe one a day until the test?
Hi @Molly_Bashirian, I have reviewed your study progress and have some feedback for these last two weeks of studying.
Since you only have two weeks left, taking multiple full-length practice exams is the best approach. When you take a full-length practice exam, treat it like the actual exam and take your time. Go through each question and ensure you are reading each part and the possible answer choices. When you finish, it is important to spend significant time reviewing your exam. Go through each question and explanation to determine your weak and strong areas and ensure you understand the concepts. Then, revisit your weakest areas in the textbook, re-read the page, and take the quizzes. If you do poorly on the review quiz, that is a sign to slow down and re-read it again.
If you continue this process, you will slowly increase your exam scores and overall readiness. The five areas I recommend you revisit as soon as possible are Retirement and education plans, Rules and ethics, US Government debt, Municipal debt, and Taxes. You also have memory-tracked reviews in the “Study Progress” section ready for you in your dashboard, which you can filter based on textbook sections. I would recommend spending any extra time going through those.
Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you,
-Brenden
