I noticed a small star on the corner of box with the correct choice when reviewing exams. What’s that for?

I also noticed a small “x” on the incorrect choice and a hollow star on the correct choice if it’s a question I got wrong…is this for better accessibility for people with colorblindness?

Yep! These are just small indicators to improve our accessibility:
- A solid
for a selected choice that was incorrect - A solid
for a selected choice that was correct - A hollow ☆ for an unselected choice that was correct
We already incorporated some non-color affordances in the UX, but the icons help make it more clear:
