I have my exam on May 1 for series 63 can you check if I am ready or not. Or if there is anything I need to do to be more prepared.
The amount of preparation you’ve done is impressive! At the same time, given that you’ve taken so many practice exams, I’m a bit concerned that you might be memorizing the questions and answers.
As you get into your final weeks of preparation, I would encourage you to slow down and focus specifically on the concepts rather than the wording. Try to answer the questions without looking at the choices, and see how you do.
Another good technique is to think beyond the specific question, asking yourself how the choices and answers might change if different information in the prompt changed. Would registration still be required if their customers were all institutions? If they had fewer retail clients? If it was an IA rather than a BD? Working through these scenarios will ensure you have mastered the foundational concepts and can get questions correct even if they’re presented in a different context.
