I am retaking the SIE on 9/13 and completed the textbook portion of the achievable material. I really want to do more including than the Dashboard to really set myself for success. This is the 5th time I take the SIE. The last 2 times I got a 69 and before that was a 68. The last time I took the exam was a bit over a year ago and used Kaplan and unfortunately forgot some stuff but remembered and learned concepts better through Achievable. This is the first time I use achievable and love it. I am really understanding the concepts and questions but really am nervous about failing again as the last time I felt ready and exhausted the Q bank from Kaplan and did their 3 day school. There is no way I will give up but really any tips and what to focus on each day from now till I take the exam is greatly appreciated! There is no way I will fail again!
Doris, go to YouTube and search for “Series 7 Guru”. His name is Dean Tinney. He has an SIE playlist you can search for. Watch all of those videos. If you have extra time, watch any SIE practice exam videos you can find as well.
You got this Doris! Keep fighting.
Hi @Doris_Lindgren, you can do it!
I reviewed your account and have a few specific suggestions:
- Take many more full practice exams
- Approach the exams slower and more carefully
- Spend much, much more time reviewing your past exams
Making mistakes is part of the learning process - use them to understand what went wrong and how to master the concepts for next time!
You’ve got this Doris!! The Achievable program will get you over that finish line…just be sure to give yourself time to do LOTS of tests! Review what you missed and study! I look forward to hearing your good news!
I was able to pass the SIE with Achievable!! They really were the difference! Definitely interested in taking the Series 7 with them also! Looking if there are any discounts as I want to also take the 63, 9 and 10!
Congrats on passing your SIE!
I’ve sent you a DM about the other exams~
hey, I’m just checking in. I know you took your test last week. How did you do? Did you pass?
Great news! Congratulations!!
