Constant fail practice exams

My SIE exam is scheduled for the 16th of this month and I have been studying for three weeks. Achievable textbook is such a great tool that helped me a lot. However, I constantly get less than 40% for so many attempts at practice exams while getting 85 and above with FINRA and Kaplan. Does this have to do with the wording of the Achievable exams? I am very concerned

Hi, @Kim_Veum. I have looked into your account and have some insights into why you scored poorly on the practice exams. You are taking your exams way too quickly. Some of them you are taking in just 2 minutes. You must take your time on the practice exams and ensure you have read the question fully and all the possible choices. Only then can you determine what the correct answer is and why. If you look for a pattern or familiar terms, you will not succeed. You must understand the general concepts to pass. You also have only taken one full-length SIE practice exam with us, which you took in only 20 minutes. After you take your exams, you should spend a good amount of time reviewing each question and the explanations and answer choices. Then, you can identify what areas you are struggling in and what areas you already have down. Additionally, you have not finished the textbook yet.

You should treat your readiness score and your exam scores as good indicators of how prepared you are for the real exam. Over the next week, I highly suggest you spend more time on each exam and take more full-length practice exams. Also, really spend time reviewing afterward.

We don’t look at other companies’ materials, but our exams have a 95%+ success rate, and we make monthly updates to ensure our course best prepares students.

Please let us know what else we can do to support you. Thank you,
-Brenden
