Hi @Maddie, we’re still finalizing California approval and expect to be live in the next few months.

If your exam is soon, we recommend using another provider for now!

I plan to take the test in January, 2026. Would you suggest that I take your courses considering the approval timeline?

We would love your business, but since we don’t have insight into how long the regulatory process will take on California’s side, it’s probably safer to go a different route so you aren’t in a time crunch.

Hi @Justin , just checking in to see if you have any updates on your insurance course status with the California gov.

I saw the news that After January 1, 2026, we only need to complete 12 hours of training in California Insurance Code & Ethics for Life & Health license. Would you please help confirm this change and let me know if you have any offerings that satisfy the existing requirement?

Additionally, would you please offer me a discount for being your loyal user - this is going to be my 4th exam with you!

Yes, that is correct. California has removed the pre-licensing course requirement. Starting January 1, 2026, you only need 12 hours of California Insurance Code and Ethics for the Life and Health license.

That said, we still strongly recommend taking a full pre-licensing course before the exam to give yourself the best chance of passing, and ours is a great fit for that.

We do not have the California Ethics module available yet, but we are actively working on it as of January 2026. For now, you will need to complete the ethics requirement with another provider.
