The Series 7 takes the information presented on the SIE and goes a bit more in depth, especially with suitability (benefits, risks, and typical investors of investment products, plus recommendations), municipal debt, and options. Bottom line - the knowledge you’ve built with your SIE studies should make it a smooth transition to the Series 7 material.
